HARVARD WOMEN'S HEALTH WATCH, first published in 1993, was the first newsletter to focus on health information specifically for women. It now enjoys a readership of more than 200,000 subscribers.

Keenly aware of the specific medical issues of concern to women, as well as the fact that women may experience certain conditions and treatment differently than men, Harvard Medical School felt the time had come for this important information resource. Each issue covers a wide range of topics of particular interest to women including breast cancer, diet and nutrition, hormone replacement therapy, exercise, vitamins and supplements, and much more.

The newsletter is edited by Celeste Robb-Nicholson, M.D., Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a practicing physician at Massachusetts General Hospital.
